"The Best way to prepare for life is to begin to live"
This is all about our little Azeem :
Welcome to Azeem's website. Azeem was born on Friday June 29, 2001 at 5:25pm. Our perfect boy weighed 950 gms and was perfect in every way imaginable. Over time, things began to change in Azeem's personality and development. Our worst fear was developmental delays so we began feverishly researching and learning all we could, trying to anticipate such a diagnosis. However, we were very unprepared for his diagnosis.
In 2002 Azeem had his first MRI and EEG, which were absolutely abnormal. He was diagnosed with Microcephaly: small head size and severe developmental delays. We were told Azeem may not walk, talk and will never reach his mile stones. Azeem started to have seizures. It seemed life stopped for us at that moment.
We took one step at a time and started our new beginning towards our unplanned journey
Now our little Azeem is 13 and he is learning to make sounds and practice to walk each and every movement.
He is happy cute little boy who inspires us everyday. I am always thankful to God for blessing us this precious gift.
"There will come a time when you believe everything is finished. That will be the beginning.”

Difficult Times
In 2007 March we had very tough time, Azeem had stomach bleeding and rushed to hospital, he was kept in ICU for 3 days.
His acid reflux got worst , his medication was changed and came home after 5 days.
Later in 2009 August Azeem's pancreas got inflamed due to his seizure medications and he was hospitalised for 15 days, this was his longest hospital stay.
Azeem came home with several food restrictions...
This did not change for a couple of weeks. We had to visit the Emergency for few times. We could get thru this tough time with the help of a special person.
As parents it is very hard to see Azeem going through all this,
but as we face harder and harder situations our bonding as a family is growing and becoming strong.
We have few but very very supportive family members and friends in our life who were with us always... especially in the tough times.
In this journey with Azeem I met very special people ...............
